Path Social pricing: $49 and $69 a month, and what the refund really covers.

Path Social's pricing page, read on 3 September 2026, sells two plans: Core at $49/mo and Elite at $69/mo on monthly billing, or $29 and $41 a month billed annually (about $348 and $492 a year). The page opens on Annual, its “50% off” is measured against struck-through figures rather than the monthly rate (the real saving is about 41%), and there is no free trial. “Guaranteed results or it's free!” resolves in the Terms to a 7-day refund on the first purchase only. We're Virallized, a competitor at $99–$299/mo with a 7-day money-back guarantee, so every figure here is quoted from Path Social's own page and Terms.

Path Social's public record

The profile currently shows Trustpilot's own banner: "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines" alongside the notice "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company." That is Trustpilot's judgement, quoted verbatim.

Before you pay anyone, get your baseline

A price only means something next to a number. The free growth checker reads your last 12 public posts: your real engagement rate, which formats are working, and where your follower count is heading.

What the pricing page actually says

Two plans, one toggle. On monthly billing Instagram Core is $49 a month and Instagram Elite is $69; on annual billing they are $29 and $41 a month, “Billed annually”. The page prints per-day badges (“only $0.97 Per day” for Core, “only $1.37 Per day” for Elite) but never the annual total, which works out to about $348 and $492 a year. No trial, setup fee or add-on is shown.

The tiers differ by volume and attention. Core is scoped to “1,000 - 2,000 Followers /mo” with “AI Profile Review” and a “Live Growth Dashboard”; Elite to “2,500 - 3,500 Real Followers /mo” with “Advanced AI Targeting”, a “Dedicated Account Manager” and “Ludicrous Growth”: “5-10x more shoutouts, email sends, and targeted audiences”. A tooltip on the ranges adds: “results may be higher or lower based on your niche and content”.

The billing terms that change the real price

The page opens on Annual. Its header banner, as displayed today, reads “3 SPOTS LEFT | 50% OFF ANNUAL PLANS | ANNIVERSARY | FLASH SALE” with a countdown and “ENDS IN 1 HOUR!”; the toggle is labeled “Monthly / Annual — save 50% yearly”. The 50% is measured against struck-through figures (“$59” beside Core's $29 and “$84” beside Elite's $41), not against the $49 and $69 the Monthly toggle charges; against those, the saving is about 41%. The Monthly toggle shows struck prices of its own, “$79” and “$99”.

Reaching the monthly price takes effort: in our read the “Monthly” link and the switch did not respond to ordinary clicks, and the monthly view only rendered after a programmatic change event. A casual visitor may never see it. The per-day badges are annual-rate figures that stay on screen in the monthly view, and the Terms add that “Prices are subject to change at any given time without notice.” Cancellation is simple (by email or from the account page) and immediate.

The refund, in Path Social's own words

No trial is offered; the promise is a refund. The hero says “Guaranteed results or it's free!”, and the tooltip behind the cards' “Guaranteed Results or It's Free” reads “Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund”. The FAQ: “you'll start growing within 2 days, and fully ramping up after around a week. If not, we'll happily give you a refund!” The help center adds that “our refund policy applies to the original registration date.”

The Terms (“Effective Date and Last Updated: September 27, 2021”) govern: “All new purchases are accompanied by a 7-day guarantee where the customer may request to cancel their subscription and receive a refund of the original amount charged. After seven days from the date of the original new purchase, services are already being rendered and PathSocial.com will only cancel the subscription but not provide a refund.” That is a 7-day money-back window on the first purchase only; renewals fall outside it, and nothing in the Terms ties the refund to a measured growth result. In contract terms, “guaranteed results” is a first-week cancellation right.

What the money buys

Path Social describes itself as an agency, not software: “we don't ask for your Instagram password and we don't use any automation or mass following… We only use organic promotion through influencers, publications, and our in-house platform”, “Influencer Shout-outs… from our 13,000+ influencers” and “Email Newsletters… to 9MM+ subscribers”. Asked whether it follows and unfollows: “Nope… We don't log into your account, we're not a bot or an automation tool, we're a social media agency”. So the money buys placement in front of other audiences.

That is the vendor's description of its own method; the only outside test is the public record, and Path Social's Trustpilot rating is currently suspended. The profile renders live above in Trustpilot's words. The follower ranges are averages the tooltip says “may be higher or lower”, so the number the price is anchored to is the least contractual thing on the page; the first-week refund is the most.

Our price, beside theirs

Virallized is $99–$299/mo depending on plan, above Path Social's monthly rate and well above its annual one. Our plans are managed, human-reviewed growth scoped to 150–3,000+ followers a month depending on plan, with no contracts and a 7-day money-back guarantee stated on every pricing page in plain words rather than in a tooltip.

We are the competitor here, so hold our row to the same test: our pricing is public, and every service in the category is priced beside ours, billing terms included, at /instagram-growth-service-cost.

Common questions

Does Path Social have a free trial?

No. The pricing page offers none; its alternative is a refund promise (“Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund”), which the Terms define as a 7-day window on the original purchase only.

How much does Path Social cost per month?

$49/mo for Instagram Core and $69/mo for Instagram Elite on monthly billing, or $29 and $41 a month billed annually: roughly $348 and $492 a year, paid up front.

Does Path Social give refunds?

Within seven days of a new purchase, yes: the customer “may request to cancel their subscription and receive a refund of the original amount charged.” After that, “PathSocial.com will only cancel the subscription but not provide a refund,” and renewals fall under the same rule.

Is there an annual discount and what does it really save?

Annual billing takes Core from $49 to $29 a month and Elite from $69 to $41, about 41% off the monthly rate. The page's “50% off” is measured against struck-through “$59” and “$84” figures instead, and the annual total is never printed.

What's the catch in Path Social's pricing?

The page opens on Annual behind a flash-sale countdown and a “3 SPOTS LEFT” banner; the monthly price only appears after toggling; the per-day badges quote the annual rate in both views; and the refund is a 7-day right on the first purchase only.
